Pat Stout

is a 27 year old Jamaican-American writer and Muay Thai fighter hailing from rural Florida. He grew up on a small farm with his single mother, and developed an early love for heroes and comics after visiting the Superman Museum with his grandfather and receiving a D.C. Encyclopedia from him at the age of 10. Pat would often escape the farm to his own fantasy worlds, imagining what it would be like to have superpowers and go on heroic adventures. His favorite pastimes were reading mangas after school, drawing accessories for his comic book characters or acting them out in athletic feats. His elders did not approve of these passions and quelled his pursuits. However, after playing football and studying biology as a student-athlete at Wesleyan University, Pat realized his heart was in the arts. After Wesleyan, Pat reconnected with his partner, Asa, and they dove into their passions, creating “Sentinel 6”; a futuristic sci-fi about a group of super powered young people of color who must face both the problems within society and those within themselves. Through writing and martial arts, Pat has explored the path of the hero, so to speak, and developed a deep connection to the story of Sentinel 6.

Asa Palmer

is a New York native, born and raised in the northernmost borough of The Bronx.

Asa grew up poring over comic books during the school week and watching hero shows like

Static Shock and Jackie Chan Adventures religiously on Saturday mornings. After graduating from Wesleyan University, he

spent several years working in graphic design and broadcasting for CBS Sports, where he was

recently nominated for a Sports Emmy for his work on Super Bowl LV. To further cultivate his

passions, Asa founded Palmer Huntt Productions, a media production company formed to

produce content presenting people of color in a positive light, opposing misrepresentation

faced by people of color in media. Reconnecting with his former teammate, Pat Stout, and

identifying their mutual love of comics and passion for creating media for people of color, led to

the development of Sentinel 6; an afro-futuristic, western anime following six people of color on

their journey to protect Earth from an intergalactic terrorist with a vengeful history.
